Hey cointalk, Well, my grandpa surprised me again with some coins! The Japanese WW2 10 Sen (Showa year 15, so 1940) is BADLY damaged, though it can be identified. The Korean 1968 and 1971 5 wons are AU. The Japanese 100 yen is a Woodie IMO, nice.
As most coins were at one point or another. The coins my grandparents gave me started me collecting many years ago and are the only part of my collection that I would never sell. They're more than just coins.
I just became a grand dad just this afternoon. You better believe I going to set some things aside for my grandson!
Didn't you just tell us that your parents sent your collection to the dumps? Hopefully it was just them giving you a warning-type lesson. Congrats to you, and especially to Definer on becoming a new grandfather.
Well, he's probably going to start with silver. I'm picking up the 5oz ATBs and I think a 2013 set is a good start.
