    well, with many of you reshooting your coins...i told myself i would do a few while i was off work. back to the job on monday, so i'd better get to it. (i say i'm going to get all sorts of stuff done when i'm off work that doesn't happen!).

    here's my first ancient coin, and arcadius from alexandria.

    this is bela iii of hungary, a scyphate coin and kind of hard to get a good shot of.

    again, and edited improved second pic taken on ol' gnarly...

    Much better; those tiny LRBs are tough to photograph. The Bela III looks excellent!

    Oh, they're tiny? (modern guys haven't a clue) Smaller, than say, a dime? I have a devil of a time photographing anything smaller than (and including) a dime........

    the arcadius coin is 17 mm, just under dime size. the bela iii coin is pretty good sized at 28 mm.

    Nice image Chris. I'm trying to update my images as well, and small coins are tough. This is a 9mm coin I just re-imaged:
