Greetings! I wanted to share some of my top ten favorite coins with you all! Thank you for all those who warmly welcomed me to this forum already, and I appreciate it! The first set of top tens comes from 3 plastic containers I keep my most favorites in, and from these I will begin! 1. Egyptian: a two-toned with pharaoh 1 pound date unknown. 2. Egyptian: gold colored with a woman 50 piastres date unknown. 3. Lebanon: silver colored with a cedar 1 livre 1968? 4. Venezuela: silver colored big coin 5 bolivares 1997. 5. French-Polynesia: silver with figure (mask?) 10 francs 1967. 6. Argentina: silver with man on horse 10 pesos 1962. 7. Tanzania: silver with rabbit 50 senti hamsini 1990. 8. Nigeria: silver with 2 ears of corn 50 kobo 1991. 9. Argentina: silver with woman with fluttery hair 20 centavos 1960. 10. UK: silver with part of shield 50 pence 2008. As for my 2x2's, these are my top ten: 1. Italy: silver with head of woman with torch 5 lira 1949. 2. Jamaica: silver with crocodile 5 cents 1973. 3. Cook's Island: shiny silver with hibiscus flower 5 cents(?) 1975. 4. B. Virgin Islands: shiny silver with pigeons 5 cents 1976. 5. Barbados: shiny gold colored with lighthouse 5 cents 1976. 6. Malta: shiny silver with some structure on the front 5 cents 1976. 7. Barbados: shiny copper with national crest 1 cent 1976. 8. Bahamas: shiny light golden with pineapple 5 cents 1974. 9. Isle of Man: silver with castle(?) near water 5 new pence 1971 10.* Poland: silver with wreath 20 Groszy *1923 grade xf. I hope I have not overdone it, but I am eager to share with the fellow members of this forum. I have one more top ten list I'd like to share, but I will wait before listing it. I really like collecting these coins, and I sometimes pull them out to enjoy, get lost in the nostalgia found there in, and dream of coins I'd like to find. Let me know what you think. Coin.King!
