sorry about the lighting. not the best this total is about 1/5 of my newfoundland collection. not including large and small cents.

thanks. its hard to find decnt newfoundland coins as before 1949 we had basically our own currency. hopefully. ill have a lot more soon as a friend of mine tells me of a friend of his who has a large bag of old newfoundland coins,but dont collect them. they were horded up by his grand mother many years ago. so hopefully i will be able to buy a bag of old newfoundland and canada coins that he says weighs about 15lbs. may be some beauties in that.

Glad to see a hardcore NFLD collector. I'm in the same boat as you but on the other side of the country. Collecting any specific grades?
I just picked up this nice 1888 50 Cent piece before Christmas.

nice 50 cent piece, i have a bunch of 50 cent pieces of a lot of differnet dates. a good few with the same dates..do you have any doubles that you may be interesting in working a trade of sorts?

I'm looking for all the vicky halves in EF. Which is very slow going at the moment. I'm only up to 5 dates right now so no doubles of those: 1888, 1898 Portrait 1 LW, 1898 Portrait 2 SW, 1899 WD, 1899 ND. But I do have a few 1917 halves in MS60-MS64.
These are two halves I just bought!


How does your 20 cent collection look? Any specific goals in mind?
