I'm especially happy with that 1995 Chicago $5 star bill, my first Old Style bill. Before I was just a $1 collector, but now I'm getting into all Federal Reserve notes. also, the 2 2006 $1 stars from L and J are replacements for circulated copies of those same bills. Anyone want the circulated ones for $.25 over face? Overall, I'm happy. Currency is snatching most of my attention now, I may even sell off most of my coins except my silver and proof sets to focus more on currency :thumb:
Those seem like some nice pick-ups. If you're bored with coins right now, I'd still keep them. Once you sell them, they're gone. And if you ever decide you want to get back into collecting coins again, you just pick up where you left off. Unless you're like me and can't afford to keep both; it's either one or the other...and in that case, go with what brings the most enjoyment to you. Anyway, that's my unsolicited opinion on that -LTB
I can't afford to do either! XD I've always liked currency, but up until now it's been consistently 'out of my price range', in terms of picking up good examples all the time. Now that I'm getting a bit more money to spend (tutoring on the side, selling things on amazon/ebay/forums/etc), I'm drawn to currency more than ever, especially small size notes. I just sold some uncirculated $2's, and that money will probably go to buy 1 uncirc $2 star bill, and maybe another uncirc $5. And it's not like I have anything truly spectacular in my coin collection. I just have a lot of midgrade 'schtuff' as my grandpa would call it, with the only things I would want to keep being my silver coinage.
