the coin is gold in color, and about the same size as a us 50 cent coin. one side has a face. it sorta looks like it could be a native american face, because of the nose and hair cut(i am probably wrong.) around the front of the coin it definitely says something, but it has faded away. around the rim of the coin there is slanted indents that go all the way around. there is one indent missing, not sure if the coin is supposed to be this way or not. on the back of the coin there is a wreath that wraps around. and inside the wreath it has a "10" and underneath the 10 it appears to say "cent". it is faded a little bit, but it definitely starts with a C and ends with a T. around the wreath on the outer part of the coin, it says something, but is also to faded to read. the date is at the bottom center and its sorta faded also, but definitely says 18?1. i believe it says 1801. i guess what i am asking is, what kinda coin is this? if you know off the top of your head how much it is worth or any other kinda info on it, that would be cool. but once i find out what it is, i can price it and research it. also, if you need some more pictures let me know. i forgot to take pictures of the rim. i could also take pictures next to another coin to compare.. thank you.
I think it may be a canadian dime, maybe 1841? Well cannot be that, they are about the same size as a us dime,
yep that is what it is. i was a bit wrong on the date though. it is 1827, with charles X on it. its not worth much, even if it was in good condition. but its still a nice coin to have, its big and heavy also.
