I found this coin today. I don't think it's really worth anything. I just want to know what it is. No mint date or anything. Does appear to have a mint stamp of some kind over Ike's left shoulder but i can't really make it out.
That's a commemorative. I just saw one with another president. That one is really beat up. probably not worth anything? Considering the one I saw was in the 10c bin... lol
That's pretty much what i figured. pretty good detail for a cheap little token though, It even has ridges on the side like a coin. I'll have to clean it up and add it to my collection of random coins and currency. I actually found this in an old 1954 Studebaker Champion I hauled off for a guy today. The car had been parked for almost 30 years and used as storage, so it could have gotten in there from a week to 20 something years ago. still it's pretty cool though, I'll have to post a better picture when it's cleaned.
