Some kind of Asian ten cent coin

    is this worth anything? I found it but have no clue if I should keep it or image.jpeg image.jpeg get rid of it

    I do believe Japanese 10 yen - date is under the 10 but I do not remember what the symbols mean - I'm sure somebody on here can tell you. Worth around 9 cents face value in the US! Fun just to keep because nobody really collects those.

    It is dated year 52 of the Showa era, ie 1977. The Showa era began with the accession to the throne of Emperor Hirohito in 1926.
