That is a 1975 Mexican 50 centavo coin, 177,958,000 mintage Copper nickel, two varieties for the year, one with dots, one without, the one with dots carries a slight premium, in about a 65 it is a 5 dollar coin. It is not a legal tender coin, since Mexico devalued their currency, at the time of the devaluation it would have been worth about a half centavoThe side with the eagle is considered the obverse, it is a poor example of coinage, compared to the earlier artistry of Mexican coinage.
