Paper money is not in my realm. I think these are gold/silver certificates and maybe a banknote. As far as condition goes, they are far from crisp notes but in my opinion in decent shape.

These notes are some of the ones owned by my "boss" at work and he was wondering what they may be worth. I have to keep him happy as I am soon retiring from the us military and need a good reference when I start a new career. Any input would be welcome.

What are they and a rough estimate of what they are worth?

    Thanks,

    Harry

The 1914 Blue Seal $10 Burke/MacAdoo is ~ $85 in VF and drops to $70 in F12...your note should fall in this grade range.
    The $10 Gold note....is ~ $175 in F-12 with VF going at $220.-$250

The Hartford, CT $5 National will go for $75 to $100 (whoops Small Size) See corrected post below!!

The $5 FNB of Hartford is FR-590, Lyons/Roberts signature and in fine condition is around $140 dealer bid, maybe more...

    Mike...

Thanks for the correction..I misread the fine print in Don Kellys 5th Edition.
The Small Size is $75 to $100...this note looks in the F-12 grade to me and I would go along with your number of $140-$200

Sorry for the typo and mis read! Should put my glasses on!! LOL
