Here are some coins that arrived this week. Thought I might put up a few now and some more later. Nothing really unusual. Circulated except for the Walker. Jim 1949S Franklin. One of the keys and nice except for couple small spots on rev. a 1942 Walking Liberty a 1909 VDB Lincoln and a 1972/72 DDO (DIE 8) Close up of the 72 Total cost from 2 dealers, including postage was under $50.
Because of the hat, I will start calling you the " Capo " of cointalk, you'd be an excelent enforcer or the " muscle ":thumb:
Thanks, but I think the hat will be retired soon. Even I am afraid of it! It was my Halloween costume! Couldn't see worth a dime out of those dark glasses. Actually I thought I had paid much more and that the number in my head was for one of the halves, but free shipping on one helped Jack is the 1909svdb you have on the open forum one you showed here in the past or a different one? Seem to remember one from Long Beach. Jim
I have to ask - what happened to the pictures of the walker? Was it just glare? I hope so cause it looks really nice, but the pictures makes it look polished. Maybe take the coin out of the holder, cause it looks like mint luster trying to peak out. Nice coins - that 1972 DDO looks neat.
That is an excellent price. Which dealer? Spread the wealth. Those Halves are so hard to photo and I don't know why Walking Liberties always look like tin foil. Ruben
