This 1959 LMC was in the whitman folder I have barely started going through.




1942 D :



1942-S W/L purchased as UNC, and in hand, looks like it. The photo emphasize some marks and doesn't do luster well so maybe AU.




1960 and 1962 Franklins





Proof 1962 Franklin. Rev is as bright as obv, just different angle I guess. Some toning pattern starting I suspect.



Lastly, an oddly toned 1959 Franklin. NT or AT ?? Like those black lips :smile

Nice pieces.
The 1942 S W/L may unc. Unusual reverse rim, very wide.
The 1959 BF is unusual, NT I think.

All nice and my favorites are the 42 penny and proof Frankie. Always fun to get new pieces!

 

Another nice batch of coins. I really like that 59.

 

Very nice coins. I don't know if that 1959 is AT or NT, but it sure is cool looking. I'd be proud to have any of those in my collection.

 

Thanks to all for nice comments. I like the toned one quite a bit as I do most toned coins. The fun is in the hunt also!
