Some Coins Re-Imaged

I've posted some of these before but the pictures never quite captured what it was I wanted to get across to the viewer. In short, they lacked that 'in hand look'. These pictures closely approach what it was I wanted to convey. The old 'point and shoot' has been since been mothballed........

Ken I don't think you can give the new camera all the credit , I think since you got it your skills have improved a lot too . So a combo of the 2 maybe . I just know you could give me the best camera money can buy and I still couldn't come close . WTG Bro !!!!!

 

Looks great Ken. I would have liked to seen a comparison between the originals and the newest photos. One day I would like to get a grown up camera but I'm going to have to keep using my point and shoot.

 

I gotta say, I do love this camera.........I take it everywhere with me. I'd even take it to bed but the wife balked at that.......

Love that 98 o wish mine looked that good! You can't beat Nikon lenses. Even point and shoot Nikon take great images.

 

Well, when you get as old as this 'codger' you just have to indulge yourself every so often. I've wanted a Nikon for like forever.......never could afford the one I wanted. One day I could......

 

Yeah Paddy, I love this 105mm lens that I use. @geekpryde turned me on to it. Now there's a guy who can shoot.

 

We should start a photo contest in the forum. Not just coins but anything and everything . Have members vote for the best shots 1st. 2nd and 3rd place. No prizes just bragging rights .
