    Right, but on the coin depicted here, his name does not show. Usually you see "A(ndré-Henri) LAVRILLIER" along the (bottom) edge of that coin, but I cannot see it here. Different type maybe, or a weak strike? The B mintmark is for Beaumont-Le-Roger, by the way.

    I like the Bar Kokhba revolt coin.You might be interested in this website which shows the different varieties,including your grape/palm tree type.

    There were actually 3 different wars or rebellions against Roman rule in Judea.The Great Jewish Revolt 66-73AD,The Kitos War 115-117 and Bar Kokhba 132-135.

    Thanks , I know the Jewish History.

    First: you gave an amazing site regarding the Bar Kokhva revolt , I will make a link to it in my site.
    Second : I have also one coin of the first revolt , 66-73 CE. The coin is 1 Perutah "year 2"

    As for the Engraver's name : The name might apear on other 5 francs. I will search for it.

    That Austrian coin is referred as RARE by Krause

    catalog. I bought it from a man who knew that I am "crazy" for curiosities like that.
