    Hi All,

I received some coins back from PCGS today. These 4 were interesting results.

Here is a 1972/72 DDO Die #1. I really thought this might make a 67 ( yeah, I know, be happy it is a 66) and I am happy. The 1955/55 DDo had been graded a very long time ago as ANACs AU50, so that was nice.

This 1909 Lincoln Matte Proof was sent in mainly for authentication as their was a lot of discussion as whether it was or not. It is, but how and where they found wear for a 58, I will never know., but it is a part of my mattes now. The 3Leg buffalo was questionable color. :(

Definitely good results, with the exception of the amputee. Can we see close up shots of the 09?

Great coins Jim ! I had a 3 legger come back the same way last week too.
It's a bummer- so is that the beginnings of a lamintion peel above the Indians eye ? Or are his veins popping out of his head from being a no grade? :)

Her is the 09 Matte PF. I think they graded it 58 more for the "grime"/ toning in the letters than much else. But that is OK, at least it was real and I feel good about picking it up raw at a show. I think it is a really nice coin!

Great coins! Too bad about the 3-leg, I had an 09 vdb come back questionable color last week too.

IMO, that matty needs to be cracked and go back and get graded again. Unless the coin's luster is very flat, I don't see enough wear to signify a PR58 grade.

Thanks all. I do appreciate your kind words. It is always a learning experience when the grades come in! I have another group there, but even though they were sent in same time, they haven't been finished yet. The more than a week difference concerns me a little.

I really don't see questionable color in the 3 legger.

Harry, I have a 37P in a PCGS holder that is almost exactly the same color. But I am lucky enough to have the coin, so it might be bad Karma to complain about it :thumb:

Love to see the reverse of that 3 legger. What do you think it grades at? The obverse looks very nice!

Here is the reverse Harry. I still have another one at PCGS, and I think it has a similar color. All of them were stored in the same holder. But still a nice looking coin in my opinion.
