soldered cents

    why would a cent be soldered? what would be wrong with it where soldered would be used?

    Most likely it had a pin soldered to it for use as a lapelpin or broach

    its a xf 1877 cent, thats one heck of a pin

    Yes but in 1877 it was worth 1 cent
