    Roman emperor Julian II (AD 361-363), one of his "VOT X" coins.
    Roman Imperial Coins (RIC) 106, Heraclea mint.

    Thanks, Bing! The coin actually looks better. Sorry, my photography skills are not that good:yuck: I was recently reading about Julian II, and he was quite unique. Now that my interest for ancients is increasing, I'm going through a bunch of coins I purchased years ago and discovering the little "treasures." Thanks again to all of you for sharing your knowledge!!
