I was just wondering what everyone is counting on buying really soon?. I came across a coin on ebay and I had no idea that Hong Kong had issued such a coin as Monkey's are somewhat of the holy grail for me so I gottta get one. ;) What WC is top on your list to buy? All I gotta do is get the $$$ and I'll buy one, of course I can't get an oz but I'll get a 1/10th. :D How about you?

I would really like to have this 1930 Iceland set. I especially love the toning on the 10 kronur piece, as it really adds to the mystique of the coin.

The 1934-35 Melbourne Australia Florin. This one is the nicest I have ever seen, and it sold for over $1300 on eBay about a month ago.

I would like to get a centenario, but for some weird reason every time I get close to having the skins to get one, I end up buying some other coins or note.

My answer isn't as sexy as all of yours, but I've been working diligently at completing a modern Mexican set for the last year or so, and I still need about 10-15 coins that are not worth a lot of money but I can't find anywhere, so those are the ones I want the most. I check eBay almost every day to see if anyone has listed one of them for sale.

The Chinese coin for year of the horse. Don't know how to pull a pic to this thread, but that coin is top of my list. Wonder why...:):):)

I had two sets of these Icelandic Althingi Comm's,, but I sold one and keepung the other. There is another member here on CT that might be able to get you a set of these,, his CT ID is Siggi Palma. He got another member here a set not to long ago,,,I would send him a PM to see if he has another one.

Well there are 3 coins from Iceland I would love to get my hands on to complete my Icelandic Kingdom Era collection and they are the 1933 25 Aurar in Unc and the other two coins are going to be impossible to find since i'm not really sure if they even made them ,,even if they are listed in Krause ,,,Those two coins are the proof strike's of the 1940 1 Krona and 2 Kronur..... I guess all I can do is dream about those last two coins. :zzzzzz: :zzzzzz:

If I didnt always blow my money on Ancients I could get these but my Top World Coin would have to be a high AU Queen Victoria Crown.

Well I came close but no cigar! Here's my last world coin, just got it yesterday and in hand it's a beauty beyond belief. Incidentally there was very few of these made in 1997 so I guess this coin is a bit rare. This will have to work for my monkey for a couple more months I guess.:D

This is going to sound super lame, and really point out how new I am to the hobby. I'd love an Australian mint set, but one of the older ones with a penny and I think it has a two cent piece as well. It seems though I keep getting distracted with other coins. I love Australian coins. But its not a set I foresee suddenly becoming hard to get.
