Ive been trying, but alas, I find a good cheap coin and have to buy 6 of them (quite literally)

 

It's either that or the wife broke your 'mouse finger'..........

 

It's been 6 months. The wife figured out how much I was spending. It's either coins or the other thing and I'm certainly not giving up the other thing.

 

And you call yourself a coin collector...come on, you need to get your priorities straight, man!

 

I have. I haven't spent money on a coin since the FUN show, so that is over a month now. No wait, I bought something at CNG about Jan 21st, so I guess not quite a month yet. In my defense, the coin I bought on CNG was VERY RARE, with a good friend of mine spending 6 years trying to buy one, so I had to buy that one.....

So yeah, a LITTLE self control I guess, but not as much as I thought.

 

There is definitely something wrong with you.

 

I set a monthly limit on how much I can spend on coins, but that doesn't seem to be working out as I planned...LOL. Fortunately, I handle the accounts and bills..but my wife often gets to the mail before I can, and she seems to be getting suspicious with all the packages coming in.

 

After 57 years of smoking, I quit, cold turkey, on September 26, 2014 and haven't had a smoke since.

The thought of going a month w/o buying a coin is depressing. Think I'll take an Ativan. I might even have to change my avatar.

 

AMEN to that Chris. Cold turkey is the best way to quit, means you really mean it. You just saved yourself to live longer so you can buy more coins.

I'm truly winding down for a hiatus and a good learning spell. I need to get into some books and organizational skills and could use a break from accumulation.

A nice period of assessment and reflection is in order I think.

That's too bad @geekpryde, really sorry to hear that. I, on the other hand, got a huge quarterly commission check and have bought a whole bunch of nice coins in the last month. Here are my favorite two.
