    I inherited a coin collection. I can only post 10 images at a time so bear with me. I’m curious as to any potential value as well as any other info you might be able to share. Thanks!!

    The 1963-D Benjamin Franklin Half Dollar is worth about $10-12. The silver melt value is about $8.50.

    If you got a coin collection and questions like this it wouldn't hurt if you got a "Red Book, you'll save us and yourself lot of time. These are average coins and average circulated grades. The half dollar with the bell on it is 9/10ths silver, as mentioned. Here's a link to the Red Book, you just look up the coins. If you've questions on any, just ask:

    You'll like it. Inheriting a coin collection can be daunting sometimes. It's a very good, inexpensive place to start you off.
