So I broke down and hired a guy to have a look at what was causing CoinTalk's server to be so slow...... he's rather expensive at $125 an hour, but I hope y'all will find it worth it. Let me know if you see a difference.
Thanks peter! There has been alot of data base errors along with the clock Issue appreciate your efforts
Much faster and the page doesn't jump around anymore! Thanks! $125/hr to :computer: ..... I'm in the wrong business!
I will let you know when i get to work next week..cause this site drags when I am there. here at home it works perfectfully fine 99.9% of the time. does seem faster loading -shrek
Hallelujah! Thank - You - Peter!!! Have him check out the various Support & Feedback threads were many comments regarding these issues have been getting logged the last couple months or so...
I am new,but I have had no real issues with speed.earlier today there wer a couple hickups between pages.but other than that I havent had any issues.Im using DSL and Firefox.
I visit the site at all times of the day Peter and it seems to me that the lagging isues (at least what I percieve) occurs mostly between the 7:30 PM to 11PM time frame. Possibly due to more traffic on the site at this time? Hopefully your techy will ferret out the problems....:smile So far so good (7:45 PM) this evening.
Very cute and funny! Do you write your log in that script when the gravity generator goes out Captain?
It's a dang good thing for you that I'm on a laptop Captain, 'cause if I was on the desktop you'd be gettin' a bill from my chiropracter.....
Generally speaking, I'd say smooth as silk. I'm using AOL and normally at this time I have to switch browsers. Not so tonite....
I know 1 night does not prove everything is copacetic, but this has been one of the best I have seen in some time. Thank you!
I noticed that things were going quicker. Thank you for getting this taken care of. It seems to be going a 1000 times better
Like I posted above, I've been using AOL and on most occasions (in the 8PM- 11PM time frame) I've had to switch browsers (Peter recommends Firefox) but not so these last two evenings....
