Smugged Bill

    I ran across a five dollar bill that has blue ink smudges near the bottom of the bill. Could this be caused from the making of the bill ?

    That blue seems too light to match any of the blue on the bill.

    from printing: doubtful in this case. color is way off and none of the green inks are smeared.

    I have to agree. I think it is from something other than the printing process.
