Small Pantikapaion - Black Sea - Please help identify

    This one is also a bronze 13mm D x 2.5mm W. The reverse may be normal PAN but the letters are too worn? The Obverse looks like a horse with ÕA below it. The coin in general is very worn and much of the detail is gone.


    Wish I had received some that had more detail, they are truly fascinating coins.

    I have been looking at both places and have not come up with anything yet. I will continue to look at other resources listed on coin archives for this area and time. I could have told you there are 506 examples on Wildwinds, none of which match :(

    You amazed me the other day when you posted the Satyr coin that was the same as mine. I had not found that one on line either so it makes me a little worried.
