Nice pictures. The 'large date' the top left of the 9 is much wider than the bottom half. The 'small date' is much closer to being straight up and down on the left side of the 9. The small leaves of the small date version do not touch the dots as the other two varieties both do. Got a picture of the leaves?
The above info is for the much earlier cent, so ignore it. 1953 - 1964 had a shoulder strap type and a no shoulder strap one. The others had something about the beads. I leave this one to the more knowledgeable on Canadian coins.
