Look at the 8. See how it's bigger top and bottom circle.
Also the 2 in small date how the curve out near the bottom versus a straight part to the bottom on the large date.

Compare. Be critical on every aspect of it.

    Also, you don't have a small date 1982 D.

and keep in mind there are all these varieties. but i'm sure you wrote it down next to you as you search. Write down your knowledge.

    1952 – 1982 is 95% Copper and 5% Tin & Zinc; 3.11 grams
    1982 – Current is 97.5% Zinc and 2.5% Copper; 2.5 grams

The 7 Business Strike Varieties (8 total with the 1 rare one):

    LARGE DATE Philadelphia
    • 1982 Large Date Copper
    • 1982 Large Date Copper plated Zinc

    SMALL DATE Philadelphia
    • 1982 Small Date Copper
    • 1982 Small Date Copper plated Zinc

    LARGE DATE “D” - Denver
    • 1982 D Large Date Copper
    • 1982 D Large Date Copper plated Zinc

    SMALL DATE “D” - Denver
    • 1982 D Small Date Copper plated Zinc
    • 1982-D small date copper (1 or 2 known to exist). This is the one all the fake youtube videos are made for thinking you can find one making it seem they are readily available and easily found.
There is also a 1982-S Large Date which is not included because it is a PROOF.

Thank you so much! I am making books for my grandbabies and want to make sure I have the correct ones in and this had stumped me. So much history I love it!

Straight Pool was the first game I learned to play when I was 9 years old (1956). By the time I was 13, I could run 100 balls most of the time. Straight Pool began losing popularity in the late 60's primarily because the gamblers wanted to play a faster-paced game.

Later on, One Pocket and 3-Cushion Billiards became my favorite games because you could learn a lot about most other games from them.
