Hi All, Check tyhis out, Now the counterfeiters are counterfeiting slabs too to make it look even more like their phony stuff is genuine. Check this link : http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=8385997825 Have Fun, Bill
Anybody that buys coins from China from a seller with PRIVATE feedback is just a fool. And you know what they say... "A fool and his money will soon depart"
Heh I saw that the other day when looking for $'s and thought it was funny. Should have posted it. Again though, thre's nothing magical about putting a coin in a slab and assigning a subjective grade to it. You will see more of this, not less, and it might get to the point where so many coins are "slabbed" and "graded" that it will be nearly impossible for n00bs to tell theese apart from what you guys call "the real grading companies" (personally I don't belive there's such thing exactly, but that's another post).
He takes Bidpay which has gone out of business. I wonder what the Chinese printing on the slab means in English?
On another forum someone who reads Chinese says it is "Beijing Antique Coin Appraisal Center", which is just another way of saying "Please prove that there's a sucker born every second by bidding."
