What does everyone think about sending in the 2009 Proof and Silver Proof sets in to be graded?
I have never had any certified, but wondered if it would be worth it since it's a big set this year.

It would cost you a few hundred dollars in certification fees to do that ($20-$30 per coin usually), definitely not worth it in my opinion. Save those certification fees and just buy another 5-10 proof sets from the Mint if you think they have long term value.

My question is "aren't they already slabbed by the mint"? I know, just kidding.

My opinion to SLABBED the 2009 Silver Proof & Uncirculated US Mint Set is a WASTE of MONEY. US MINT Product is No need to be Certified its 100% percent genuine coin. I need only the services of GRADING COIN when it comes You encountered a UNIQUE COIN like a 1995 DOUBLE DENOMINATION http://www.pennyondime.com or others Questionable Error coins or RAREST COIN.

......if you can find them it would be cheaper to buy them ALREADY slabbed. if that's what you want.
