Size of PCGS and NGC slabs

Are PCGS Slabs and NGC slabs the same size? I want to buy a plastic box for my slabs with slots in it; it holds 20. I've found one with a PCGS logo on it for a decent price. However, I only have NGC slabs. Are they the same size? Do you think the box is one-size-fits-all?

I know that both PCGS and NGC slabs fit in the NGC box, but not quite sure for your case.

 

NGC slabs won't fit in the PCGS box, they will fit in the slots, but the NGC slabs are just a little taller, and you won't be able to close the lid.

 

You're kidding me. That's the worst news I've had all morning.
Well, I may just pick up the PCGS box and deal with the lid being wobbly. NGC boxes are twice as much, a little more actually.

 

Any suggestion on a generic box? I wanted a plastic one, but the generic ones I've seen are cardboard (and cheap) or wood (and expensive). Like Goldilocks, I need one that is juuuust right.

 

While I've never used them, JP's Corner has the Whitman boxes that are supposed to hold both NGC & PCGS slabs.

I have grey NGC box (second from bottom) and all my slabs fit in that box. It's a plastic one too.
