    I found this coin with a metal detector. Is there any value here? As you can see it is in a coin holder and broken chain.

    you will see how metal detecting pays off. I found everything from Gold coins to Diamond Rings & braclets. Relic from the Revolutionary War, Civil War. Check out the video and you will see.     Here my 1935 1/4 Bolivar it 925 Silver but I did not dig this one up. I got while in US Army in Bogota Columbia .

    The coin shows "ley .900" , so that coin is 90% silver.
    0.9000 Silver 0.8680 oz. ASW (Actual Silver Weight)
