Does anyone collect this type of silver round and do you know how old this one is? I was told this one is old and I'm wondering if it adds on a premium. Where it's from? Anyone?

Yes- people collect silver rounds. The ones I have seen are priced off spot price. I do not know anything about yours - have you tried searching ebay?

Yes I've tried ebay a couple different times and I couldn't find this specific one. My guess is one of the private minting companies in North America made these but it's just a guess so far. anyone?

  5. I have never seen this one before but am guessing it is from a private mint. I do not collect rounds and am a fan of ASEs for a number of reasons. The only silver rounds I have are a few Engelhard American Prospectors from the 1980's. TC

Yes it is older, but it is still a generic type round so its age will not give it any premium over spot.

It is minted in the U.S.; probablly in the 80's. It is worth "spot price'; today about $17.
As to collector value; it depends on the individuals desire for the 'maker' of this particular round; A silver round is a silver round.
$ 20 is a fair price today; stricty based 'speculation'; as the current spot price of silver is about $17oz.
