First timer here, but I have been lurking for a while. I got a roll of quarters from the bank and found this in the roll. It is silver and feels like it weighs more than a similar silver quarter I have. Just curious to know if this is a die mistake a screw up or what. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

No lead, had a friend at the university test the metal.

The coin is clearly a cast counterfeit. What do the edges look like?

It wasn't made at the US mint. I'm fairly certain of that.
