Silver Morgan P what grade?

Any opinions on a grade for this Morgan . Thanks Guys

VF details, harshly cleaned/polished, I'd say. It's often hard to grade from a photo, but with this one, there isn't much room for doubt.

 

Details via harsh cleaning. Wouldn't be worth much more than melt.

 

Id would have to respectfully disagree on the harsh cleaning , maybe its the photo or the celophane distorting the coin it has quite a luster and some very light scracthes out of the sleeve. I apperciate your opinions though.

 

Why did you ask if you had the answer in your head already? It looks like it's been through a garbage disposal.

Luster from cleaning is different than mint luster

 

It must be the photo, it looks harshly cleaned to me.

EF, harshly cleaned/whizzed.

 

I would agree with EF40 with cleaning but it will go for about $35.

 

VF.

Breast feathers are worn smooth on the reverse, much wear on the obverse including the hair above the ear.

Value $27.50 - $30.

 

The coin is well struck, breast feathers are worn and appears to have been harshly cleaned as there is no evidence of circulation dirt shadows around the letters, stars, pertrait, etc. I would grade this as VF-30 Cleaned with a net grade of F-15 to VF-20 due to cleaning.
