    Hi All,

Well I have been buying half dollar rolls and loose rolls from the 3 banks I frequent for a few months now, but never found silver.
Well today I went to one of my Credit Unions to pay a bill and just asked if they had any half dollars loose or rolled. The teller took out of the vault $ 30.00 worth of loose JFK halves in a ziplock bag. As soon as she dropped it on the counter I could hear that sweet ding of silver and said I will take them from her.
She poured out the bag and counted them to make sure of the dollar amount and I could see a 1964 and a 1968 JFK. So I walk out with them and checked them out in the car. I received the following dates:

    4 - 1964 JFK's
    1 - 1965 JFK
    3 - 1967 JFK's
    4 - 1968 JFK's
    and 1 - 1969 JFK.

I am so excited I scored these. All the other times I got nilch and now payday is here.

I did get a lot of 1971 dates other 70's and a 1995 and 1986. Is there any dates I should be looking at besides the silver halves? All help is appreciated.
    Thank you

The 1972D & 1982 "No FG" halves might be ones of interest. No, they are not worth a fortune, but are always nice to add to a varieties collection.

Any proofs, 1987's, and 2002-present are all NIFC. Congrats on the silver!

    Nice going!
Back when the slot machine were of the coin use, I would play the halfs just to pull out the silver ones 65-69, and I did find 57 of them still have them today>
