    Hi there,
My grandfather had a true passion for coins. He left me this silver half Shekel, and I wanted to know the monetary value of it. Any and all opinions wanted. Thank you for helping  DSC06519.JPG DSC06520.JPG DSC06517.JPG DSC06518.JPG

There's one on eBay right now listed for $895 as a "Buy it Now". It's in the same holder as the coin you posted. Check out this link.

Of course just because the seller is asking $895 doesn't mean the coin is worth that much.

There's another example of that same coin which is raw, meaning it's not in a holder or slab, that's currently priced with a 'BIN' of $490.

So I would guesstimate the value of your coin to be roughly between those two. I know $500 to $900 is a pretty wide range, but the truth is you won't know exactly what it's worth until you actually sell it.
