Been trying to get up to speed on these 1 oz. coins. Noticed on ebay that the 2014-W coin doesn't have the W on the back but the proof coin does. Thought they were both made at Westpoint, what up with this?

The proofs have mintmarks - bullion coins do not. I don't know the reason for this it's just how it is.

You can get a 'W' burinshed piece from the mint that closely resembles the uncirculated bullion coin but you will pay a hefty premium.
