The sound is good, but the moving around of the camera is like the Blair Witch Project. Please get a tripod! Otherwise I think it's a pretty entertaining video.
Youtube posters with many subscribers get advertising money. Could soliciting youtube subscribers be in violation of the rules of CT?
nope, Just asking For Feedback and Showing my finds through Video Format instead of pictures. and how am i going to go from 22 subs to 10K through ct? think my friend... think
Well, considering this is all you post about.... think, my friend, think. I am not trying to be mean here, but all the threads you’ve posted appear to be nothing more than a plug for your videos; perhaps if you participated more such threads would not come off this way. As for the videos themselves, kudos for correcting the camera orientation, but you might want to consider even basic editing; there is no reason to have a fair to substantial percentage of your video consisting of what should be done prior to taping and/or edited out. The focusing, moving lights around, etc, etc only help to make the videos close to unwatchable, and this is beyond the camera shake mentioned both here and in a past thread. One other thing… it would be wise to research or double check your claims before taping; even beyond the “never get scammed again” debacle, there has been at least one tidbit of questionable to poor information presented as fact in every video I’ve seen. If your goal is subscribers, put some thought into the subject matter before you make a video, and do what you can to give at least some level of appeal to your target audience. When you have developed your idea, only then start recording, and even if it takes hours worth of tape to make a two minute video after editing, at least you may end up with something watchable.
thank you for the feedback. every one else just nags but you left me some good feedback, In my next video i will make sure to correct any problems to make my videos of higher quality. And yes im trying to get feedback through ct to help on my videos and also just to share my finds and to bring entertainment to people. and the magnet video was just one of the ways. but thanks for the feedback and maybe you can THANKS FOR THE FEEDBACK AND i will try to accommodate you in my next video. Thanks Alot.
Definitely needs some camera work, having good shots and videos as opposed to a bunch of shaking is a step towards showing people you are serious and care about quality. As to the whole "self promotion" thing, yeah, I suppose in a way it might be a little bit of promotion to say "like, subscribe, comment", or "maybe you should subscribe to me". Just a little something to keep in mind, and go easy on the caps lock key.
ok thanks man. and maybe you can subscribe so you can see my next video and let me know if i improve my quality and i will definitely take your feedback into consideration.
See, not to belabor the point or be harsh about it, but this is the thing I'm referring to. The whole "maybe you should subscribe to me" I think is why some people may be thinking self-promotion. I am more than willing and happy to give you advice, but I don't think its necessary to hit the subscribe button to do that. I think that people are worthy of subscribing to if their videos are of considerable quality (including a not shaky camera, decent editing if needed, presentation in your video such as speaking clearly, etc), get the point across well, and are at least a little entertaining. If you can nail those 3 down, then I think you will see a good boost in your subscriber numbers.
I'm really not trying to just criticize for the sake of criticizing...what I am offering is (in my opinion) constructive criticism, which is making suggestions on how to improve your videos. There is no point in my post where I have attacked you or demeaned you. I have the link in this thread to visit and view your videos whenever I want, so I can see them and see your progress and improvements without the need of subscribing. I personally don't even have an active youtube account. By the way...pretty sure you don't need 10K subscribers in order to make money off videos. If you get consistent views, and some of your videos are in the 1,000+ view count, I'm pretty sure Google makes an offer on a few of them to place an ad, and gives you some amount of money each month because of it.
@Silverpicker528 I have already formally warned you once about spamming CoinTalk. Now I've just came in this thread due to a reported post and found that you haven't taken my warning to heart. I've decided to let this thread stand since it's an interesting topic, but I have cleaned out some of the spammy bits. Ironically, one of the reports about this thread was from yourself. You're welcome, even encouraged, to put a link to your Youtube channel in your signature. You'll find, as others have suggested, that you'll get more positive attention by making interesting posts but leaving out the spammy bits (ie, "please subscribe to me"). You'll also find that my patience has limits. Thank you
