Some more silver at nominal value coins from France https://www.monnaiedeparis.fr/fr/bo...ign=Emailing_Rodin_fevrier17&utm_medium=email https://www.monnaiedeparis.fr/fr/bo...e-10eu-argent-qualite-courante-millesime-2017
Is that really a face value coin. 20 Euros would be over an ounce of silver. 50% bigger than a Morgan dollar. That seems like it would be a little unwieldy to use.
You might be surprised. This is just ONE of those that I used over the years - No, it's not silver, but I think it makes my point As for the 50% more silver, an ASE has more silver than a Morgan too. A Morgan has .75 oz, and ASE 1 oz. I agree the 20 euro would be bigger, just not very much bigger.
I used to collect the 5 and 10 guilders coins from Netherlands when they were still silver. Then they went to plated and selling above face value and all interest was lost.
