First, I apologize if this is in the wrong section, I'm not quite sure where to put it. I was wondering if there was such a thing as a silver bar grader. I have never heard of or seen a graded bar. I don't even know if they would use a 0-70 scale or not. I guess most bars are bought for the investment value, and condition isn't too much of a factor, but that's just my thinking, as people surely buy coins for the investment value and condition doesn't matter to them either. My thinking is that the main reason for an grader of bars would be authentication. I can also see why it would be difficult to grade a bar as there are so many producers of them, all with different designs, so a scale wouldn't really work unless there is a special scale for each bar which wouldn't make too much sense. I apologize for thinking as I type, so I digress to my initial question of if anyone has seen a graded bar, or heard of a grading/authentication company. Thanks, Will
