I really think people are crazy for selling Silver Dollars and Bullion at auctions.

Lately Silver Dollars have been trending $28-$32 at auctions.

    Local auction houses charge 25%.

After commission, that is $21-$24, Respectively.

    Better off selling it:
    1. To a local buyer....I know of a gold/silver buyer who pays $25 each for silver dollars. (Sells them for $30 and makes $5 a pop).
    2. On eBay, commission would be much lower.

Have you shared your epiphany with those sellers?

Melt at current price is $24.59, and I don't know ANY buyer who pays that much for silver dollars.

The norm is up to $3.50 under spot.
