Does the Kingdom of the Two Sicilies count? i have no idea of they were minted on the Island of Sicily proper or on the Italian peninsula. For some reason, I come across many more 1800s coppers from Naples than from Sicily. Kingdom of the Two Sicilies, 10 Tornesi, 1858, Ferdinando II
That's a nice 20 litrae! Here are three coins from Sicily, three ancients, the other from 1791: Syracuse, Deinomenid Tyranny, tetradrachm, c. 475-465 BC Syracuse, Second Democracy, tetradrachm, c. 460 - 406 BC. Syracuse, Agathokles, tetradrachm, 317-289 BC. Sicily, Ferdinand IV, oncia, 1791 I have a few other ancients and world coins from Sicily that I still to photograph, and I hope to do so soon.
