    OK Fellow CTF'ers,
I showed you what I think is my nicest Morgan now I'd love to see pics of the best one(s) from your collection.I know there must be some stunners out there.Bag marks are fine, almost all of them have a few..or more..I'm looking for nice clean strikes and nice luster and/or toning, maybe frosty PL devices (I don't have ANY of those).Bring on those beauties!:eat:
    I'll break the ice...1886-P

I don't collect them but I do have two. They aren't very nice and they sit in my collection alone and miserable. They won't even photograph well. Here they are. A 1889-O and 1879-P

    Die cracks are cool:

Only the reverse mark keeps this one from a big grade:

    I dunno, I just think it's pretty:

A fingerprint, which isn't good. A VAM15, DMPL obverse, PL reverse, which is.

My personal favorite, an apparently yet-unidentified S/S VAM:

Here's a total ignoramus question. What exactly is a "Morgan"? I know it's a silver dollar, but what makes it a Morgan as opposed to something else? I have 3 Carson City ones (so I've been told) in a case. 2-1884 and 1-1881. I just posted pics of some more (I think?) that were marked Morgan on Vial #8. See photos at http://www.monshaugenfamily.com/coins.htm

The design of the Morgan silver $1 coin was by an English designer,George T. Morgan.
