A coin which has great (AUish) detail but alas was in some sort of fire and harshly cleaned afterwards the prior owner told me. It's bent somewhat like a pringle as well...
Not sure Buddy. It was a "toss in" from a seller I've done alot of business with. All he said was it apparently was in a fire, he tried to cleane it years ago, and it's bent a little. Take Care Ben
i don't feel like taking it out and putting it back in my collection book. ( effin ridiculous to get it back in) but it would have to be my 1909 VDB penny.. its bent like a magician tried to to bend it with his teeth.
For me, it would probably be one of the eight bright red AG-4 Lincolns I received in an auction coin lot... you don't need to see them, we've ALL seen them at one point or another! lol.
Sorry Jim, I have no idea what caused this breakout of coinpox. It came in a huge lot (well over 12,000) of improperly stored Lincolns that a friend gave to me. Even though it is so badly disfigured I could not bear to give up on it and have it in a cardboard flip and stored far away from other coins. The reverse is every bit as corroded as the obverse. jeankay
Jean , thats that insidious Lincolypoxelai disease , quite common in certain parts of Mars . LOL rzage
Wow rzage, I knew I didn't have the correct diagnosis... glad you got an M.D. (Money Degree) in coins! jeankay
