I work at a local grocery store and am always on the look out for any interesting currency. Pre-64 silver is easy to find prices for, but I've pulled a few bills that I don't know much about. Any help would be appreciated!
I'd keep them all myself - particularly the 20 and the 2. The others I would keep as "emergency money" which is only spent on coins of course since they are only real emergency.
I'm actually looking more to sell them, not keep them. Are any of them worth more than the actual printed value?
Would have definitely kept them. I am actually trying to buy a 1934 $20 on eBay, no luck so far. Not sure about the 5 value. The 2, 10, and 20 are worth more than face value, at least on eBay they are.
I'm actually quite a frequent eBay-er. I'm not sure how selling things on here works, because I'm quite new. edit
Yeap, would like to add an older $20 to a type set (plus I like small portrait bills). Not interested in any deals with users with 3 forum posts though.
My opinion on values: 1969C $5 (XF) - $7 1934 $20 (XF) - $30 1950A $10 (VF) - $12 1953A $2 (VF) $4 Considering eBay fees of ~10% and Paypal of 2-3%, you won't make much selling on eBay. You're better off finding a buyer on these forums.
Read the rules on selling on this site. 10 posts and you can list them in the "for sale" forum. You cannot offer to sell them in this part of the forum. Welcome to CT Wish you luck on other nice finds. I would also pack them all away until I found better examples then use them for trading or for sale. GL Darryl
