Did some search and noticed 2500 exist and the one I have is very similar to PCGS. Thanks for you suggestions!
Nice looking WAM. NOT worth getting graded. Also, for a variety, I believe you would have it "attributed". Either way, not worth the $$.
I did some searching and there are less than 150 of this variety graded at PCGS in all grades and color. Since, your coin is brown, there are only 3 graded in that color. None of which reached an MS grade. The auction record for a brown 1999 Wide AM, you might ask? $6.00. That is a decimal point with two zeroes behind it. The PCGS price guide for this brown coin? Here is one of my 1999P WAMs. The other is nicer but I don't have pictures. Neither of them reside in a plastic coffin. They are perfectly happy in 2x2 flips.
I notice when people take pictures of their coins there always looking professional with a grey or black background squared off. Do u edit it? And make these backgrounds?
I just take the pictures with my phone and then crop them in GIMP and make the background black. I think it looks nicer.
Put it in an airtite container instead of a flip. Hydrozyncite is starting on that coin so you want to conserve and contain the coin.
PhotoScape is a free download that a lot of people use for editing their coin photos. http://www.photoscape.org/ps/main/index.php Some coins like a red cent look nice on a black background, but I don't think a brown coin would. You'd have to experiment to see which you like best. Chris
Cool find but as others have stated the condition is not worth grading. The 1999 WAM is becoming harder to find though.
