Should I get it slabbed?

I have an uncirculated 20th Century Mexican Type Set. Some coins are gorgeous and rare, others are nice but common. It would feel weird to get just some of them in holders, but I'd like to see if I could get a registry set started with them.

I'm thinking NGC (I favor them for world coins for some reason). Or maybe I just leave them in their album?

    Thoughts?

I personally don't see the point of having any coin slabbed unless I intend to sell it, but then again I don't do registry sets.

Yea I've been doing this exact thing with my Hungarian type set. NGC World Value service is really great for this. You end up paying $19 per coin +$8 handling for the order and you can make a beautiful registry set. I just made sure the common coins I submitted were MS65 or better, that way even though they may be cheaper coins they still had the eye appeal to justify them being slabbed.

I look at it this way. I collect coins as a hobby if u want to keep it and preserve it. Slab it. If not 2X2 it. I have several coins not worth much I slabbed for sets.
