Can anyone suggest a short series to collect. I'd like to be able to get them in uncirculated, and have most or all cost under a hundred dollars. If you want to know why look at my other post.

Not SBA Dollars but something as short but better looking.

Well one of the other areas I am getting interested in is the war series of coins from 1941-1945. Everyhting is very affordable except for the walking liberties in BU. You can allmost put the entire war series together for your hundred dollars. I started with cents went to nickles then the mercs, now on the Wash quarters. When I finish this series I am going to try and do WWl, 1917-1919. good luck

How about Franklins? Eisenhower dollars? Zinc Lincolns? Jeffersons aren't a short series, but fairly inexpensive and easy.

That's a nice idea, I hadn't thought of it before. Usually you stick with just one type of coins. Nice.

Nice answers. I really like the idea about the war years set. How would I display it though? I've been looking at the Dansco books. I haven't used one yet, but wanted something nicer since it would be uncirculated coins.

You can use Capital Plastics holders. I think they'll custome-make 'em for you too.

I believe a ``short'' set of late-date Walkers will run you less than $100/coin in unc condition.

Thanks for the suggestion. Where would I find their products?
