Anybody know whether Netherlands Zeeland coins found on the western australian coast from ship wrecks are ever available to purchase? Anybody know what the antiquity laws are about that?

Howdy anilla5 - Welcome to the Forum !!

As a general rule, shipwreck coins are almost always sold. That's why they go after them. But I don't really know much about any of the wrecks off Australia.

I own quite a few Netherlands gold ducats that were recovered from shipwrecks - but they were all from wrecks off the coast of Europe. Can you provide a ship's name perhaps ? If so - I may be able to find more information for you.

I have seen a lot of those cleaned Bombay 10 & 20 Cash coins which were recovered from the wreck of the Admiral Gardiner.

There are some British coins, mostly 2/- & 2/6 dated 1900 that were recovered from the Elingamite in 1967 by Kelly Tarlton. The Elingamite was wrecked off the Three Kings Islands,New Zealand in 1902.
