Shield Nickel

    I received 3 Shield Nickels from a recent coin deal as an extra bonus. (See Below).
    All of them are in bad shape. Are dateless Shield Nickels worth anything? Also, on the 3rd picture, I kinda see a date of 188? on it. Any guesses as to what it is?

    Worn, but pretty cool. Dates left, probably on a hot day in search of something cool to drink.

    Another Shield Nickel

    I just got this one this week. Pics don't really do it justice and the obverse is not toned like the picture shows. I'm still trying to get the hang of picture taking...

    I am not sure they are worth a whole lot and not even sure someone would buy them. There used to be someone on ebay that sold acid treated shield nickels for more than I ever thought they were worth, but you could see the dates.
