    Here are two very rare coins, one is unique. Fortunately the coins have a bit of corrosion and worn dies so there was very little interest. I, on the other hand, was very interested and thrilled to add them to my collection. The best part is I only had to take one picture!

    Phoenicia, Tyre AR Shekel. Dated CY 113 = 14/13 BC. Laureate head of Melkart right / ΤΥPΟΥ ΙΕΡΑΣ ΚΑΙ ΑΣΥΛΟΥ, eagle standing left on prow, palm frond behind; to left, PIΓ (date) above club; to right, KP above monogram; Beth between legs. 13.29g, 25mm.

    Congrats. I hope to get a Tyrian Shekel some day.
    It is one of those “jinxed” types I have bid on countless times but never won.
