This is why I am AGAIN working in 2015 with Gurney on the Contemporary Counterfeit Cap and Ray Book. See this incredible thread on detecting Sheffields in NGC & PCGS holders in UNC using the seam analysis method.

The ANS Portrait Contemporary Counterfeit 8 Reales is in progress at the ANS.

The most sophisticated and best made contemporary counterfeit prior to 1900. The Sheffields.

    PRICELESS!

I literally have no idea what you just said, as I can't even parse your thread title, let alone the post. But I imagine I will learn a lot once I click that link.

You would have to communicate better to get me to click on a thread.

It's hard to understand at first, but stick around and you will learn the language.

PS: the discussion that John linked requires an understanding of this language
